Pular Lithium Project

Our Pular Lithium Project, located in the Pular Salar in the northwest of Salta Province, Argentina, is part of our strategic lithium exploration and development efforts within the highly prospective Lithium Triangle and is a key component of our broader Salta Lithium Project, which also includes the Rincon and Incahuasi projects.

Pular has a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 173,000 tonnes of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE) , part of the total 714,872 tonnes of LCE resources across the Salta Project's global JORC MRE base.

Joint Venture with Heng Li Technology
Power Minerals has entered into a fully funded joint venture with Heng Li Technology, a leading lithium extraction technology provider. Under the joint venture agreement, Heng Li will provide full funding and management for the project's development, ensuring no dilution for Power Minerals' shareholders.

Heng Li will also purchase 100% of the lithium concentrate produced from the Pular Project, either as lithium chloride or lithium carbonate. This collaboration ensures a streamlined development and commercialisation process, leveraging Heng Li’s advanced Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology, which offers cost, water, and energy savings compared to traditional extraction methods.

Development Strategy
The development of the Pular Project will proceed in two stages:

Stage One: Heng Li will fund the initial production phase of 100 tonnes of LCE per year, supported by Power securing necessary permits and approvals, including Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and evaporation pond approvals.

Stage Two: Upon successful completion of Stage One, Heng Li will invest an additional US$5 million, expanding production capacity to 1,000 tonnes of LCE per year.

Upon completion of these stages, Power Minerals will retain a 25% interest in the joint venture, ensuring its ongoing participation in the project’s future success while maintaining a strong financial position.

Advanced Technology for Sustainable Extraction
Heng Li’s lithium extraction technology, already deployed in China’s Qinghai and Tibet Provinces, offers environmental advantages, including no waste discharge and a closed-loop system that recycles water. This technology will be applied to optimise lithium production at Pular, ensuring sustainability and efficiency.
