The Santa Anna Niobium & Rare Earths Project is a district-scale alkaline carbonatite project located in Goiás State, central Brazil. Covering the entire Santa Anna Alkaline Complex, the Project hosts mineralisation prospective for niobium, rare earth elements and gallium, three critical minerals that are increasingly important to advanced manufacturing, clean energy technologies and global industrial supply chains.
Santa Anna represents a significant long-term growth opportunity within Power Minerals’ Brazilian critical minerals portfolio. The Project has demonstrated extensive near-surface and fresh-rock mineralisation across only a small portion of the carbonatite complex, highlighting the scale of the exploration opportunity. Its geological setting is comparable to some of Brazil’s most significant alkaline carbonatite systems, reinforcing its potential to host a substantial critical minerals inventory.
A key feature of Santa Anna is its exposure to multiple critical minerals within a single project. In addition to rare earth elements, the Project hosts high-grade niobium mineralisation, an essential material used to strengthen steel for infrastructure, transport, pipelines and advanced engineering applications. Gallium, another critical mineral identified at Santa Anna, is increasingly important in semiconductors, telecommunications, defence systems and next-generation electronics.
Located in one of Brazil’s established mining regions, Santa Anna benefits from excellent regional infrastructure, road access, nearby power and a supportive operating environment. The Project also benefits from Power Minerals’ strategic relationship with local mining group EDEM, providing valuable regional expertise and supporting the efficient advancement of the project.
Power Minerals is advancing Santa Anna through a disciplined exploration and technical evaluation strategy designed to better understand the scale, geology and development potential of the carbonatite system. Together with Morro do Ferro, Santa Anna strengthens the Company’s position as an emerging developer of strategically important critical minerals in Brazil.
