The Salta Lithium Project is Power Minerals’ flagship lithium asset, located in Salta Province within South America’s renowned Lithium Triangle, home to more than 65% of the world’s lithium resources. The Project comprises a district-scale portfolio of lithium brine assets across five salares, Rincon, Incahuasi, Pocitos, Pozuelos and Hombre Muerto, positioning Power within one of the world’s most prospective lithium-producing regions.
The Project benefits from an established lithium resource, favourable geological characteristics and a strategic location alongside some of the world’s leading lithium developments. Situated within a globally recognised lithium district, Salta offers exposure to growing long-term demand for battery materials driven by electric vehicles, energy storage and the global energy transition.
Power Minerals is pursuing a development strategy that combines resource quality with innovative processing technologies. The Company has entered into a strategic collaboration with Summit Nanotech to evaluate the application of its proprietary denaLi™ Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE) technology, supporting the potential production of high-purity lithium products while reducing water consumption and improving operational efficiency compared with conventional evaporation methods.
Located alongside projects operated by global lithium producers, the Salta Lithium Project benefits from established infrastructure, a supportive mining jurisdiction and access to a skilled workforce. Together with Morro do Ferro and Santa Anna, Salta forms an important part of Power Minerals’ diversified portfolio of critical mineral assets supporting the future of electrification, energy storage and advanced manufacturing.
